If someone were to ask me what the definition of sex is I would tell them Chuck Bass.
I still don’t understand the significance of holding hands.
As you know If you read my commentary on one of the things I recently reblogged you know that several people that go to my school have died and it’s really sad. I don’t like the word sad but I feel like its simplicity shows so much here. (Probably only I think that, oops). Anyways, we got called by grade level to go to the auditorium so our principal could address the situation. After he talked to us for a little bit he said, now I don’t care if you think this is dumb or silly but when I’m upset I pray. I need God. So it doesn’t bother me if you don’t want to pray or if you make fun of me but right now I’m going to pray. So if you would how your heads… So I just thought that was awesome for him to do that. I know a lot of people needed that. Some snickered but nearly every head bowed. I know praying isn’t for everyone and it may go against your beliefs or maybe you don’t have beliefs. That’s okay, all I’m going to say is it really gives closure. You may not know who you’re praying to or why but it really helps. A lot. Even if you don’t think so, God is always listening. You may not know you’re praying to him or who you’re praying to but he will listen.
Do you need direction in any area of your life today? You might be making decisions about your job, home or relationships, but you don’t have to make those decisions on your own. God is interested in every detail of your life, and He’s provided direction and guidance in His Word. When life seems dark, or when you aren’t sure about which choice to make, turn on the light of God’s Word so you can see clearly what to do. As you meditate on His Word and confess His promises over your life, it chisels away the walls of doubt, fear and uncertainty that would try to block you or hold you back.
There were a few seniors from my school that just died in a wreck the other night. That makes six empty seats at graduation this year. I know it doesn’t seem like much, but always realize how blessed you are and tell everyone you love them. Make your unique mark that only you can make on this world and live in the freedom God provides and accept your blessings with gratitude.
If you are in the middle of tough times today, look to Jesus! The Bible says that He is the Author and Finisher of your faith. He is the one who writes faith on your heart and then develops it to completion on the inside of you. Your part is to open your heart and choose words of faith and victory.
Remember, your words set the course for your life. As you remind yourself that your troubles are only momentary and confess your trust and hope in Him, you will see His hand moving in your life. Focus on that eternal glory every day. As you do, you’ll move forward in victory and experience all He has for you!
